What is Teen Patti?
Teen Patti is a three-card game associated with India. Players compare hand categories under an agreed set of rules. Traditional play includes contributions and turn actions; this site teaches the rules using no-money examples and does not operate a game table.
The six-category order used here is trail, pure sequence, sequence, colour, pair and high card. Knowing the category prevents a common error: letting a high odd card override a stronger category.
Compare two hands
Choose the cards. Understand the result.
Use six distinct cards from one deck. Select a card below each preview.
Classic hand strength only. No suit ranking, jokers, Muflis, financial stakes or app connection.
The tool uses one standard deck, six distinct cards and no suit hierarchy. It compares hand strength only. Actual show rules, tied-show consequences and variants may produce different table outcomes. It does not support wild cards or Muflis reversal.
The default sequence convention places A–2–3 above A–K–Q, matching the cited Pagat convention. You can switch to A–K–Q first and A–2–3 second. K–A–2 is not a run in either convention.
Follow a practice round
- Agree the rules and use no financial stakes.
- Deal three cards to each learner.
- Name the category before discussing blind or seen terminology.
- Compare the categories, then apply the appropriate tiebreak within a category.
- Read the specific table’s turn and show rules separately.
For example, 6♠ 7♥ 8♦ is a sequence, and A♣ J♣ 4♣ is a colour. The sequence is higher in the basic order even though the other hand contains an ace.
Explore variations without mixing rules
Muflis changes the objective; joker games add substitutions; AK47 commonly assigns special roles to selected ranks. None should be judged solely with a classic-game chart. Read the variation map and agree the exact convention before a no-money exercise.
The comparison tool deliberately covers the standard six categories only. A simple tool is useful when its scope is explicit. It should not quietly guess rules from an app name.
Looking for the Android app?
The site owner supplied a proposed Teen Patti Master 1.0 APK record. The Android package, original source and actual file remain outstanding. Open the APK centre to see what is provided and what still needs verification.
There is no hosted multiplayer or money-game service here. The online-practice page explains what works in the browser and what does not.
